I can do this twice. 5 to me if BSU wins, 5 to you if they loose. Fiver must contain cigars of the type: "Damn, this is one good cigar", no yard-gars please.

Really? No takers? BSU is even a 1.5 point underdog:

FedEx Field Washington, DC is the site for the biggest game of week 1 college football betting odds and the biggest in Boise State history as the #3 Broncos matchup with the Virginia Tech Hokies, a perennial contender in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Kick-off is schedule for 8:00pm EST Monday for the ESPN broadcast and online sportsbooks have opened with Virginia Teach as 1.5-point favorites in college football predictions with an over/under betting total of 52. Boise State has the once in a lifetime opportunity to make the BCS Championship game but must win this tough opener and run the table. The Broncos have gone from a Cinderella story to a powerful national favorite in college football odds.

But with and Over/Under of 52, it should be a good scoring game!!!

I like Boise. Unfortunately it is almost a home game for VT..

Yea .. My money's on BSU too. And although it may be more of a homegame for VT, when I was flying down to SLC last Thursday, half of the plane was wearing Blue and Orange headed to DC!! That was a shocker. I wasn't expecting everyone to be travelling that soon to that game. But there was quite the posse. I know Steve Hawk is out in DC right now hanging with his bro, TheHatMan.

Well, I'll accept a post taking the bet before kickoff. If not, I guess I'll just smoke my cigars myself.

GO BSU!

I think BSU will probably win, but I'm not afraid to take your cigars. We're on.

I definitely think the odds are in BSU's favor here. I'd be willing to do 4 to you if BSU wins and 5 to me if VT wins. That seems to make things a little more worth my while if you want to run it. Either way, good luck!

I was going to watch the game anyways and I reckon this will make it more interesting, so I guess I'm in too. Let's do it.

now the nation gets to see how dirty VT plays . . . one player just shoved the punter, then hit two other players on Boise from the blind side . . . in the same play! 3 penalties in the same play!

Nice to see Va. Tech decided to show up with their heads firmly planted up their own asses tonight.

Hah, it's definitely a game now but I still worry VT gets run over again after the half. Like they mentioned, maybe the humidity will start slowing BSU down deeper in the game and maybe VT pulls it out. Here's to hoping.

VT is looking sharp now. But Boise St will take this game. Can't wait for Saturday my Miami Canes vs Ohio St...

This one is really coming down to the wire now. What a game so far after such a horrible start for VT.

Nice to see Va. Tech shit themselves when the game was on the line. Multiple stupid personal foul penalties, and an inability to cover receivers. And also, when you're trying to run clock how stupid do you have to be to run out of bounds on 3 consecutive plays when you're Va. Tech. Stupid, stupid football.

PM me your address Cory. Now I'm off to punch myself in the face and slam my nuts in a drawer for agreeing to such a stupid bet when I could have cared less about either team.

Great game! I think it's total BS that they're talking "national title hopes" during the first game (for either team). F the BCS.

John

And today Boise gets seven first place votes. With this win at VT, don't see any other team giving them a tough one (maybe Oregon St and Fresno St) should be an easy ride for them all the way now..
