Does anyone know of regular get-togethers / herfs in the Greater Seattle area?

There's a great cigar retailer in the area that holds regular sponsored events (am I allowed to mention them by name? not yet clear on the rules here). Those are cool, but they're not really organized herfs per se.

You'll have to let me know where this is... My sis and her family and now my mom live up in Bellevue, and I usually visit at least a couple of times a year, and this would be a good field trip!

I'll send you a detailed DM shortly. They can be pretty cool events with sponsored discounts and swag gifts.

That is definitely a good spot. Solid recommendation. I need to re-visit at some point... been a while.

Still, that's notably far south of the Greater Seattle area for anyone looking for that experience. Really, it's in the Tacoma metro area. Worthwhile, but different city.

You can list the location, unless it is a "I can tell you, but then....." kinda secret

OK, thanks. Do a quick google of "Rain City Cigar" in Seattle and that should get you where you need to be. 3 locations: one in South Seattle (where I shop), one in Bellevue, and their newest shop in Kirkland (visited recently, very nice). Check the website "events" page for upcoming events in case you're in the area to attend. Cool place. Cool people. Great selection that's curated and cared for.

Oh, they are an admitted member of the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA - not easy to get admission from what I understand). So, they have TAA selections (exclusive to TAA retailers only?) that I've seen in an available display at the Kirkland store (possibly Bellevue too as I've not been to that location yet). Please correct me about exclusivity if I've misstated something.

Depends if you are only interested in SEA residents, or folks that would drive from (cough) Vancouver and other parts of the quadrant to share a smoke. Your party, your call.
