Hi All!

Gawith Hoggarth & Co are putting together a new catalogue and also a new website.
We'd like input and feedback from people who smoke our products.
So I've put together some review forms where you can give a review on each one of our products (Gawith Hoggarth and Samuel Gawith pipe tobacco brands).

You can review as many products as you like but will need to fill in a new form for each one.

I'm curious @gawithhoggarth , is your sole purpose for creating an account here to get reviews on your products?
 
No, I am a member of many pipe and tobacco forums for the purpose of connecting directly with our customers for feedback, providing information and answering questions.
 
Massive thank you to everyone that has taken the time to submit a review or two. There is some great feedback and I will go through each individual submission and take note of points and queries raised and try and address these in due course. If anyone has yet to give a review and would like to or if you'd like to review further products please do so.

We could do with a few more reviews of Gawith Hoggarth mixtures, Gawith Exclusiv blends, American Blends and Twists.

Never heard of them.
 
Well we've been around for 200+ years and are the only manufacturer or pipe tobacco left in the UK. We sell around the world. But I guess if you do not smoke our products then you can just pass this thread by and giving a review is not relevant to you.

Yes very much so. There are regular shipments to the USA but these do sell out very quickly. We have drastically increased the amount of tobacco sent to the USA over the last 18 months or so and continue to work with the distributor to ensure there is a more steady supply. However, please note that as some of the products are hand made and very labour intensive (twist for example) it can take several weeks to fulfil a large order. But new packaging and production planning has meant that bulk orders can be made and packed more quickly.
 
@gawithhoggarth Is FVF still in production? It’s been eluding me for quite some time (other than a fantastic brother generously gifting me a tin a few years ago). Not sure if it’s just bought up by the time I search for it, or if that blend is no longer produced.
 
Not without really knowing where he is in the world:)
It's sold to any distributor that orders it! We sell to many countries through distributors and importers. I don't have a list of retailers for each country or know what each retailer stocks as they order from the distributor.

That's true. But she was asked, and did answer, honestly initially. The follow-up though has been lacking for someone claiming to want more "customer engagement".

I am not quite sure why the need for fairly rude comments.
I have yet to be told where the person actually is that wants FVF so until I know that it is very difficult to advise any further.
Also as already stated we do not have a list of every single shop across the world that stocks our products. We supply distributors who work with shops. Only in the UK can I find the nearest stockist as we work with shops directly.
I answered within minutes of being asked. There has been nothing else to respond to except snarky comments.
And as well as that there is several hours time difference between the UK and for example the USA so I have been asleep.
I also work AND am currently involved in arranging evacuations from Ukraine and aid there through my NGO so answering your sarcastic comments is not high on my priority list.
