Looking like I'm headed to Atlantic City, NJ for a few days in May, likely the 16th-19th. Wife has a confrence there and I'm taggin along for the ride. Any suggestions on places to stop in? What about a good B&M to visit while there? Anything helps guys. I want to really enjoy my time there and of course I will be in the casinos some of the time :).

thanks in advance,

C

Sorry dude there's nothing in AC, I suggest bring your own sticks the weather should be nice by then so you can smoke outside.

White House Sub Shop! Great, great subs (the best, imho).

I used to go to Atlantic City in the old days, before the Gambling. When the great Hotels along the Board Walk, like the Traymore were still standing.
I really wat to go back myself, as it has been far too long. I used to love going to the Piers which I believe some are still open. The Million Dollar Pier, The Steel Pier, and the Steeplechase Pier.

There was also a Bronze sign, on the Boardwalk, honoring Charles Darrow, I believe, who was credited with creating the Game Monopoly, which of course, is based on Atlantic City.
This was heavily disputed some years back. Interesting history.

Hope you have fun, and GO GET A SUB!!!

Jesus hit the nail on the head...nothin' along the way of a nice B&M where you can sit down and smoke a cigar. Some of the casinos still have smoking bars where you can smoke a cigar and have a drink...but that's about it.

Best thing to do, is hop across to Philly if you can. Lots of nice shops there.

I found the Borgata to be fairly hospitable the last time I was there.

No NJ, instead the plan has changes, a trip to Seattle WA was approved. Again I'm tagging along with the wife on business. Atlantic City will have to be antoher time, too bad those subs sound awesome!!!
