Very nice review. I just finished a bottle of the Heavily Peated Cask Strength version from Signatory recently. A little more amber color and definitely a powerful dram. Other than that, the description seems right on. Not my favorite of the Islays, but not a bad change-up.

'07 PLPC? Overwhelmingly tannic...nigh unsmokeable. Of course, that is just to my palate. I have a very good friend who loves these flavors. For me, give me a PLPC with at least 3 and preferably 5 years of age on it.

This is one of my current favorites :love: . I keep one open and one full bottle in the house at all times. I just love the sweet ginger spicy flavors from this dram. It's cask strength, which just adds another depth to it. I don't know what they charge for it in Austin, but it is around...
