Don't get to liking them too much as I'm sure they will be slated to be discontinued in the near future like much of the Punch line.

Suggestions on any of the following smokes 1st CC box

I'm not sure why you are considering buying smaller boxes of tubos when you could buy boxes of 25 of the non-tubed versions for not much more. So my advice is to buy the sticks you like but buy boxes of 25 it is much more cost effective and chances are you will be able to build a collection of...

    Monte #4's

Monte #4's suffer the same problem as many high volume hand made commodities... inconsistency. That's why I prefer the more specialized low volume marca's where the rollers wait until the right tobaccoo is available and ready before the stick is produced.

What are the best full-bodied cubans?

Since you liked the Bolivar Royal Corona, I would also try the Bolivar Belicoso Fino, and the Bolivar Corona Extra.

Best cc right out of the box.

I would go with Bolivar Petit Corona, Party Shorts, Upmann Corona Major, and Trinidad Reyes for smoking fresh from 08 stock.

    Partagas D-4

If they were harsh to you, then let them rest a few months and try another until they smooth out enough for your tastes. I tend to like them well aged myself, but others like them fresh. Smoke what you like and like what you smoke.

    box code question

Yes, I have seen the FIM factory code also in 2005. As far as the the BBF's go I would go with 07 or 08 stock rather than the 2005 which tend to be somewhat bland.

The flavor profile to me is like stewed fruit for lack of a better work and raisins and nuts.

The best test is to smoke one as RASS are very distinctive. Good luck!

    Sad News: scheduled for cancellation

No more Partagas Connies 1,2, or 3 and no more Punch Selection No 11 & 12. That's just plain wrong. These are outright deletions and not just reductions in packaging. It is so sad to see this continuing trend.

    Punch Punch 02

If you got another one, you might try and dry box it for few days before you smoke it. This might improve the draw and burn since it sounds like the stick may have been on the moist side and cubans smoke better in the low sixties RH.

08 has seen a comeback year for the BBF, BCE, and the BRC. So pick your size and enjoy.

    CC Verification / Porn

I wouldn't worry too much about the missing barcodes as some distributors don't want HSA to know they are supplying vendors outside their offical distribution territory. The ultimate test is to smoke them. Enjoy!

    New to cubans

The RYJ Exp #4 cabs used to be one of my go to smokes and can't say I ever got any fruity mango tastes but hey everyone's taste buds are a bit different. :p

Heading to Cozumel for a Wedding

If you can handle the sticker shock, the LCDH will have the real deal, but I would stay away from any aother sources since fakes are rampant in Mexico.
