Home-made wooden ash tray

Finished product with stain and a coat of polyurethane.

The plywood one is still pretty much the same. We haven't really had time to finish those up. Other projects keep getting in the way. However, we just went to the hardwood store today and picked up some nice walnut for souldog's ash tray. Should be pretty classy.

Nice work guys! Would like to see some inlays and other design. One day I'd love to get into carpentry.
 
We laminated the wood into a single block today. Gonna let it dry overnight and hopefully get the rest of it finished tomorrow. Pictures will be posted tomorrow. Its going to be a very good looking ash tray.

Ash tray made from walnut. All that's left to do is the cigar rests and then some cleanup. :)

Finished the ash tray and will hopefully be sending it off tomorrow :D
