Today’s Smoke 2018

I’m so tired, busy, and stretched so thinly I feel like passing out. Plus everything wants to either break or get lost. I feel so crazy right now, but I just keep a smile on my face and tell myself it can only get better hah. I owe it to myself to relax for a few mins with a minute #4, sorry no pic! Meeting with the governor of Hawaii tomorrow too.

On what is likely the last day of the year to reach 80 degrees, I made “the big cut” today and cut my canopy into two pieces. The small part is the front windshield and it will be fixed in place, the larger part will be attached to a steel frame and will slide open to get in and out. Plexiglas gets brittle when it’s cold, and working it at temps below 75-80 is asking for trouble. Over the past 6 weeks, I did most of the work on days over 90 degrees, and I might have been the only one in the Commonwealth of Virginia to be glad we had a hot summer! With all the canopy trimming done, Fall is welcome to come.

I had my first really aweful padron 2000. Had about a year on it but totally tasted like ass.

Needless to say I only got halfway thru. It felt like it had a big stick in the remaining half.

What has Padron done?? I’ve smoked a ton of these usually always with a year plus on ‘em never had a bad one.

This was nasty.

Human error. Sometimes they slip through quality control.

I totally forgot you were building a plane. Keep up the good work and that Cohiba was a looked good as well!
