After spending $55.00 on UFC 137, (it was great by the way). I needed to smoke something SPECIAL. By special I mean http://buenavistacigars.com/ Petite Piramide. This has been my 3rd out of the 5 pack I've purchased locally from http://www.peakcigars.com/Default.asp and the 2nd size, I've also smoked the Coronas - 46 x 5 1/8.

As a lot of you know, I'm mostly a minuto or petit corona guy, so I normally don't smoke cigars with a ring larger than 42. I also i'm NOT a fan of Opus, as I find them to be nothing but nicotine bombs. I won't pretend to jump on the "I only smoke FULL cigars" bandwagon because I don't. I really do enjoy a broad spectrum of flavors and strengths. I never have smoked cig's so that super tolerance to nicotine never developed.

The construction of this cigar is second to none. Right up with the likes of Davidoff, utter perfection in tobacco form

upon the 1st puff after toasting, I get smacked in the face with loads of this delicious vanilla bean, creamy flavor that just takes my breath away. A flavor that I've only experienced a few times before in this quantity. this flavor carries threw the entirety of the cigar. There is also a sweet hay flavor that lingers on my pallet ever so slightly presenting itself along side the delicious creamy splendor. This is a crazy refined cigar that's hard to describe in words. This line is medium in strength so don't expect a powerhouse.

I didn't notice any discernible spice at all, I'm just floating in this creamy wonderland and all is good with the world, ALL IS GOOD WITH THE WORLD! this cigar really did take me to that place where us cigar smokers long to be.

I finished this cigar and instantly felt bad, I wasn't ready for my experience to end :( I've only every felt this way about a cigar twice. Once with an AVO 22, and the other from a 1995 RASCC (smoked in 2005).

I urge you to really hunt down a few of these to try, you wont regret it. Also read what Eric with Jack Schwartz said about them, also check out what Brooks thought http://thesmokingsto...n-limitada.html

Nice review. I have never even heard of these. Think I might have to hunt one down to try.

That is some funny chit! I have been setting aside some dinero for my 7th capa's and here you go and throw up that review, I'm so torn on which way to go!

BTW, although we can't smoke the boxes, did you get a chance to see the box itself? The pictures on the website show a beautiful presentation of them.

Yes! One of thee most beautiful cigar boxes I've seen. I'm thinking of heading to peak cigar and buying a full box :) the same manufacturer of the Buena Vista box also makes the Behike boxes.

Where can I order some of these things? My interest is peaked, thanks for the review!!

Dang.. already blew my cigar budget for the month. Looks like this is going to have to wait for the next pay check.

These cigars are very hard to find, the website does not function, company phone # is disconected, sales manager Gary Heathcott assc. very secretive, Jack Schwartz says they fell off the face of the earth, what gives here fellas?

I bought my last Buena Vista's from http://www.arnoldstobacco.com/search/cigar.asp?id=572 He was very helpful

Lefty,

I also noticed the same thing. I hope that they are still around, but I'm trying to prepare for them not to be. I purchased 2 boxes from Arnold's and they are due to land on the 30th :)

you can also find them here http://shopwiseguys.com/buena-vista.html

I see that they have a booth for this years IPCPR http://www.buenavistacigars.com/#home and they recently created a Twitter account.

I smoked another one of these amazing cigars on the drive into work tonight. They do have a striking resemblance to a well aged QdO.

As soon as you start talking about mild cigars I completely lose interest.
