Welcome to the Inaugural CP Chefs Pass!

This pass is for those members that are active in the "CP Chefs - Gourmet Foods, Recipes, Barbeque and more" sub-forum. Those of us that have a particular interest in cooking, sharing recipes and all things of Gastronomical Delight! I have already sent out a large batch of invites to members that I have seen posting with frequency in this sub-forum and that I know are responsible and trustworthy. If you didn't get an invite, but feel that you fit the aforementioned description please let me know and we'll work you in! It's entirely possible that there's quite a few people I missed or didn't realize have a culinary passion.

The cigars: My goal is to not alienate anyone from this pass because of the cigar list, there will be cigars for everyone! Please consider this when looking at puts and takes, so we can try to keep a balance in the pass for everyone to choose from.

The Rules: Nothing special, your basic pass rules that everyone has used forever. 1 for 1, Value for Value, Rarity for Rarity, CC for CC and NC for NC. Let's try to have our puts and takes ready and on the thread before the pass gets to you. Also please post your proposed puts and takes for everyone to consider. These things affect all involved in the pass so we should all have a say if there's something questionable.

The Fun: I’ll be honest, I’m stealing ideas left and right. The original idea for this pass came from the CP Chatters pass from a few years ago. They were bunch that knew each other especially in chat. My next idea I’m stealing from Phil and his Learn Something New passes. Everyone will be asked to post at least one of their favorite recipes, pictures are even better! Once the pass is done I will compile them all onto CD and mail everyone in the pass a copy. There will also be contests and other fun stuff throughout.

My other thought would be to compile a list of recipes (this would require several submissions from everyone) that could be published in a CP Chefs Cookbook. Here in MN, it seems like every church and PTA publishes cookbooks all the time, it can’t be that hard or expensive. Heck, perhaps even Rod could sell them on the site after this is all done.

You know, it tricky with these huh? This one isn't the Euro, it's the cello off version from the canister. Although I have a couple of the Euro versions, perhaps I should throw one of those in too, to add to the confusion...

OK, I'm waiting to hear from just a few people, otherwise I believe we have a great bunch of participants lined up and ready to go. I'd really like to go ahead and get this out the door by Friday since I'll be out of town all next week.

I'm also looking for comments on this thread regarding put/take rules.
