Good Morning S / BOTL - 2013

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We all had a good time last night at Schlesinger's, the place was hoppin' and and it was good to see everyone as always. Sports wise, the MLB spring training is coming to an end, college basketball (both men's & women's) is down to the Final Four, NHL is about to start their playoffs and the NASCAR drivers are in Martinsville, VA this weekend. I hope everyone has a relaxing one and enjoys....... :D
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. Beth and I had a relaxing weekend as planned. I spent a few hours at the cigar shop with the guys on Saturday, watched war movies and smoked a couple. Yesterday after running errands, we went to a family birthday party and then got home to watch the NASCAR race followed up by the women's championship basketball game. I see that the Yankees lost their season opened in Tampa, come on fellas, let's make this a good year. Anyway, enjoy your week everyone and smoke a couple of your favorites if you get the chance........ :)
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's another rainy day here in the Hudson Valley. Congrats to the University of North Carolina Tar Heals men's basketball team beating Gonzaga last night and being reigned as the national champs. The NY Mets won their season opener yesterday and let's hope the Yankees bounce back today with a win. Enjoy everyone and be safe out there...... ;)

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a great time last night at Schlesinger's, the place was jammed packed as it was the first official event of the year. I picked up a handful of Joya Blacks and enjoyed a couple of Ligas during the evening. Sports wise this weekend, we have the NHL prepping for the playoffs, MLB in full swing, the Masters and the NASCAR racers in Texas. Enjoy the weekend everyone....... :D
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's the same ole' back to work Monday. Had a busy weekend: painted the bathroom ceiling first thing Saturday morning after a Friday evening prep, then went to the cigar shop for a while and relaxed a bit. Yesterday, Beth and I spent the day between New Paltz and Highland, NY checking out a few establishments and then relaxing in the backyard where I finished up with a tasty cigar. Today is "Opening Day" for the Yankees, let's go fellas and put up a "W" for the fans. Enjoy your week everyone and remember to be safe out there....... :)

We had another great weather day yesterday, got some more yard work done and then fired up the grill and enjoyed salmon, baked potato and asparagus all done on the BBQ. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! Had a good crowd and a fun time last night at Schlesinger's, watched both the Yankees and Mets game evenly as there were fans from each team. Congrats to the Yankees as they won and the Mets won as well but it took them 15 innings to do it. Anyway, we have plenty of baseball this weekend, the NASCAR drivers are off as it's Easter and all. Yesterday we enjoyed brunch at a the Liberty Street Bistro which was fantastic: http://libertystreetbistro.com/. Then in the afternoon, we went to her sister's house where we enjoyed a very tasty Easter dinner of ham, lasagna and all the fixings.
A big congrats to the Yankees as they have won 7 in a row now, hopefully the NY Rangers can bounce back from their two recent losses and tie up the series again this Wednesday. Enjoy your week everyone....... :)

Good morning all, the Killer Beans Nicaraguan Knife coffee is on and kickin'. Congrats to the Yankees on a big time bounce back win of 9 - 1. They are off tonight and take on the Pirates tomorrow evening in Pittsburgh. The NY Rangers are playing game 5 tonight at 1900 (7pm) in Montreal. This evening, Beth and I are attending the 5th anniversary party for the Newburgh Brewery which I'm sure will be a blast:

We had a great time Thursday evening celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Newburgh Brewery and it was special to see the NY Rangers on the monster screen win as well. Good morning all, the Killer Beans coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. We had a nice 3 day weekend, the Yankees only won Saturday, now it's for Boston starting tomorrow.
