With a lot of new members coming around, including myself, I thought this might help some people out. We all ask about humidor size and one of the first answers that come up is go BIGGER. But how many people really take that in to account? I personally started with a 50 count. Why would I need more room than that, right. Wrong. Well bigger for me was going to a 300 count, which was out grown in a couple weeks .
Well if you hang around here long enough you may come to two options: Coolerador or a Wine cooler. Since I went with a 28 bottle Vinotemp, that's all I can comment on. (If someone with a nice coolerador wants to post pics of their prize possession please do so.
The Vinotemp has been perfect for me, $149, climate controlled with Heartfelt beads. I have about a dozen boxes in it and about 200 loose sticks. I have a setup with 3 custom drawers and 2 shelves. These were built by Mtmouse. He did a great job. After 4 months here my vinotemp is almost full, my 300 count( full holding maybe 150) is full and my 50 is quarter full. I feel I fall some where in the middle of out BOTL as far as what I have. Some guys have a lot more some have significantly less.
If your looking for a nice setup, I say go Vinotemp. Trust us all, when we say go bigger..... Go much bigger. I hope this helps out some of you guys that are on the fence.
Here's some Humidor porn:

Wow nice set up I see a few sticks in there that would be great to try. Nice looking collection rp

I agree 100%. I now have 2 vinotemps (the same 28 bottle model - got them both for 49 or I would probably only have one). One is full with about 500 sticks and I am now working on the second one. I also have a 150 ct desktop full, and some small standbys in case things get hectic. I thought I would only ever need the 150 ct model I have, but I outgrew that as soon as I bought it.

Excellent thread. You just helped make up my mind. Vinotemp it is!!

Here are some updated pics of mine, looks like we have the same desktop humi inside our vinotemps Mike.

I recently took out another cheap humidor I had inside there as well and placed those sticks into my drawer. I still have plent of room in my drawer and space for about 5-7 boxes depending on the size. I keep my desktop humi inside the vinotemp as the tempature outside fluctuates too much and in the summer gets very high.

Nice setups! I also second the Vinotemp, I've had great success with it. The main reason I went that route as opposed to a simpler coolider was because I don't have a basement, so when it gets hot in the house from either lots of heat during the winter or when the a/c's are off during the summer, that means bad news and I had a beetle problem a while back.

You guys have some mighty nice stashes there :)

Mike your setup looks great. It's because of you and several other CPers that 'm breaking the bank since my membership here less than a month ago.

Everyone says go bigger....So I bought 2 28 Bottle Vinotemps (that were lost for a week during shipping) and are finally scheduled to arrive today. I've been in touch with mtmouse over some of his fine furniture.

Now I have 3 desktops...and 2 Vinotemps. I'll post some pics once everything finds a permanent place.

Seems like it's the CP curse. But I hope to have mine as impressive as yours soon. Really looks good.

Yup, I ran out of room as well and will be purchasing and setting up a vino temp over the winter. Hopefully I'll be stocking it up too since there's not much else to do in the winter. ;)

I need to snap some pictures of my Aristocrat and the contents I have inside. I meant to do that when I got it, but completely forgot. Tomorrow I think I'll snap them and post them.
