But the Johnny O looks so pretty
Don't get me wrong they're great. But they are good for a month or two, then have to go down for about a year. Not a big deal. It'll be great next year.
Painful to chuck it, but life's too short to smoke a cigar that isn't on.
I received my first Johnny-O's about 2 months ago and have had the same experience. Fresh they were great, but after about 6 weeks something happened to them. I guess it's what they call the "sick period", I don't know, no experience. So down they go for a year before I sample again.
Buena Vista "yard gar" for my morning walk. This might be turning into a habit
They'll be fine after a long nap
Well I couldn't finish it. I just can't force myself to like these anymore, guess I'm spoiled now.
I would like to at some point purchase some his cigars to age. Heard nothing but good things about John and his cigars.
Just do it
Me and Jose in the car again. (AKA my office).
Aging Room Small Batch F55 from '15 thanks to @theorangeman. I paired it with Booker's bourbon and boy did we start to feel what they call "good".

After seeing the recent repatriation from the island of St. Helena, I recall that the SLR Serie A was one of his favorites, so I'm having one.
Well wasn't today... Not even this week - but last weekend I got in a wonderful Fuente Hemingway Signature (I think it was a Signature). Paired it with a Founders Breakfast Stout!
Still strong as hell.
That smoke looks rich. And with bourbon. It would nap time after that for me.
Knocking out a Connie A.
A quick PLPC before making dinner.
Another nice one from RoMa Craft...tempted to track down a box from Germany.
Illusione H-Town Lancero
Ezra Zion Chocolate Stout
Nice way to start the week.
Had a few great cigars in the last several days:
Partagas 170 Anniversario (love the band)
H Upmann Butifarra No 2
