Deep thoughts by John Fields:

"I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it"

"Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes"

"Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny"

"Do cigars get lonely, because I bet mine miss me"

That's awesome! You did forget "Where did all my money go?" :D

Finally had a lull in the rain, and smoked a 25 yo Punch SS2 that did not disappoint... it was in the lower 40’s and humid as hell, so I was freezing...

Bill, so when smoking in a humid climate, such as between rain storms, do you
1) do anything different pertaining to storage of cigars, cutting and/or puff count when compared to smoking in California?
2) change your expectations in your smoking experience and/or pick different cigars which could handle a wetter atmosphere then those who perform better in dryer atmospheres?

1. Yes, I still dry box them at @ 61 percent, then I let it sit out for a few hours before I smoke. Same cut, and smoking patterns though.
2. No, same expectations and same cigars I enjoy in Ca, however, they do (sometimes) need frequent relighting...
