How 'Bout Them Yanks?

well you know NY we like to take it in good ol fashion...Win at home! We just want to welcome them nicely to our new home and sprinkle a little magic on the new field.

snow perhaps?

well Doc according to the weather guy who is only right 50% of the time, it will most likely be water but that what they said last time

Yeah, that was a tough one to swallow....Joe Girardi has made some very questionable decisions out there. Burnett to come back in to start the bottom of the 7th (after a 1/2 hour inning) when you have a 2 run lead and a bull pen of fresh arms? He seems to have abandoned his 'in season' routine of bringing in Phil Hughes to start the 7th...when he's challenging hitters with 95mph fast balls. The whole dynamic changed for him having guys on base and Vlad in the on deck circle.

Still have a 3-2 lead in the series though.

....and it looks like another rainy day in NY for October baseball!

GO YANKEES!

boy oh boy... Yanks have lost 2 of 3. If the Angels tie the series up, a Game 7 will be anybody's guess...then, the survivor plays a Phillies team that has been resting and waiting. This could very well be another National League year. :whistling:

Funny Tom! Perish the thought bro!

I got a fiver that says it ain't.

This could very well be another National League year. :whistling:
I'll take that bet....Oh, wait...I'm a Yankee fan!...funny thing, so is Doc

Hard to turn down a bet though :whistling:

I think you mean a Phillies fan.
It's over confidence like that that get's us beat! :whistling:

Like the Giants when they played the Saints last week!

Don't jinx us!

GO YANKS!

I think you mean a Phillies fan.

No, I did not "mean a Phillies fan". The last time I checked, the Yankees were scheduled to play the Angels. Did you want to bet that they're not? We'll let Ironpeddler hold the stakes. :whistling:

Not sure if I can be trusted to hold the kinds of cigars you guys smoke! :whistling:

My comment was an observation, not a taunt, my friend. I want to see the Yankees win as much as you and I'm not about to bet against them. Find an Angel's fan to wager with. :whistling:

Well since there is only one National League team playing and it is the Phillies, just whom did you mean by "This could very well be another National League year. :whistling:" ???

Well, due to the nasty weather we have had here in the New York area for the past 2 day, tonights game 6 has been rescheduled until tomorrow evening. The wait continues, oh well....... ??? :whistling:

80 degrees out here today in sunny Socal. It's 9:30pm and I'm sitting on the patio in shorts and a t-shirt burning a Pepin from 07.
Stay dry in the East fellas!

Day of from work today so I watched the game, good fun!
Downside: it was 05:00 in the morning when I went to my bed :whistling:
