I just recently got into cigars after a trip down to Florida to visit some family. I brought my friend Matt down with me, and being that there wasn't really much to do, we ended up just sitting back most nights and smokin some Black and Milds. At the time, I was very intrigued by the thought of enjoying a smoke once in awhile without a risk of becoming addicted to it. Both sides of my family have cigarette addiction histories, so I wouldn't even consider picking that up myself.<br />

Anyway, down in Florida one night, we were skating around the local town and passed by a cigar bar. On an impulse, I decided to buy one to try it out. The man at the counter recommended me an Acid Blondie, which frankly I found delicious. Looking back, I can't really say I enjoyed the cigar as much as I enjoyed the leaf taste. Regardless, this first smoke peaked my interest in the world of cigars, and when I got home that night, I looked up some basic information about cigar culture, mostly from Wikipedia. After a few hours of reading up on different cigars, I could definitely say I was very interested in this. Throughout the week, all that was on my mind was going back to that bar and picking up another Blondie. I wanted to dive in and try different ones right away, but I decided to play it safe and make sure it was something I could pursue as a hobby. I brought two blondies back to jersey with me. One for me and one for my girl. She seemed pretty excited at first, but she still doesn't share the same interest that I do in these.<br />

At the moment, I don't have much of an income. But every time I can get some cash from doing odd jobs, I start looking forward to the next trip to the local cigar bar.
