Thanks for the review! I've been wanting to try this cigar but the price isn't very attractive. Hopefully it'll be released worldwide in '07/'08
Plugs or tight draws will happen. If you smoke cuban cigar regularly I guess you just get used to it. I've noticed some really tight draws/plugs and I either set them back in the humi and come back to them in a couple months and toss them after that if they are still too tight to draw.
Hard to tell right now for me because I'm sure taste can vary by box. I have only smoked 1 and have a 4'er left. Hopefully the box stored away won't be wasted money.
I was confused by your post since I saw it. I couldn't figure out if you were talking about the Pound to Dollar conversion and you could only afford half a cigar or unraveled discounted ones ??? or that you were hinting that you recieved cigars this way ???
Where in the Caribbean are you going?
*Off-Topic* Does anyone know how bad the Carribean got damaged because of Katrina and Rita? I know Cozumel and Cancun took a pretty hard hit :(
Gotta agree with Bill here. I don't like cigars that have been box-pressed like Padron '64s. It's also been said that SLB's also have higher quality cigars in them.
Never had a problem with FedEx. But as a corporate company, I can see how it would be hard for them to make everyone happy. There is always someone to screw it up.
Is this the one you got from me? Or am I thinking of the wrong person ??? Either way, I think they are great cigars and must be going into a sick period. They were very approachable when young though. I haven't smoked one in about a month and should revisit them soon.
