I'm a 47 year old US Army musician, (keyboardist, singer, band leader), with 17 years in as of January 2010. I started enjoying premium cigars in 2001, while stationed in Korea. The club owner at one of the places I worked in Seoul was a cigar guy who usually had some Habanos on hand and shared them pretty liberally. During my current deployment to Iraq I finally gave up cigarettes and only enjoy good cigars now. One, maybe two in a day. Shortly after getting to Baghdad I joined the Victory Cigar Club on Camp Victory, which gets together twice monthly for a business meeting/bbq/herf and met some really great guys and expanded my knowledge of cigars quite a lot. I can't really afford to buy a lot of Cubans, but manage to keep myself in decent cigars. I enjoy all kinds of cigars, but I'm mostly a maduro kind of guy. Right now some of the sticks in my humi are CAO Black Bengal, MC Media Noche, Cusano 18 Maduro, Man O' War Ruination, Gurkha Doble Maduro, Gurkha Black Dragon, 5 Vegas Cask Strength, you get the idea. I'd like to be able to get a little deeper into some more expensive sticks, but hey, if I'm going to retire and be able to still have decent cigars, I gotta draw the line somewhere. I'll be getting back home from the deployment some time this spring and I'll probably look at getting into one of the newbie passes some time this summer.
