I'm almost out of Partagas Shorts, which are one of my favorite cigars, and my usual source is out of stock. Is there a non-Cuban cigar that closely matches the Partagas Short?

Gah... it would appear I did not research this thoroughly enough beforehand. I recently got a wine cooler to hold my cigars, but every time the compressor/fan goes on, the humidity basically goes to zero. After searching around here, I gather that I made a big mistake by getting a condenser...

Any ideas? I've tried washing it with a moist cloth several times, letting it sit open for an extended period with a fan in front of it, etc. No luck so far.

I just got a shipment of very nice sticks. Unfortunately my humidor is full. A new one is on the way, but it'll be a few days before it's arrived and cured. How long can my cigars sit around before they'll be adversely affected? RH here is between 40-50%, temp at 70-75 F. thanks.
