Thanks, folks. This is encouraging. I appreciate your candid replies.   I won't be starting up with tobacco again, but I don't want to make my friend feel uncomfortable. Glad to hear that it can be managed.    Be well and enjoy!

So it's possible, then for someone to enjoy cigars on a regular basis and with conscientious hygiene & smoking habits, not smell of smoke all the time.   That's good to hear.
