That was a helluva pitching exhibition wasn't it? While the fan in me would want to see the Braves win 10-0, the purist in me appreciates a close pitching duel much more. If that was a preview of the season series, it should be a fun season for Braves and Met fans alike. :thumbs:

Ugg, I missed this game. I'm guessing Smoltz looked pretty good? Always been my favorite pitcher. And we got Glavine tomorrow.

Smoltz looked great. Threw five scoreless w/ 6 K's. They pulled him out for a PH before the 6th after 78 pitches. Johan only gave up 1 run over 7 innings. Tex hit a 2 run HR in the 8th, and Soriano gave up 1 in the 9th. 3-1 Braves.
