So they just announced that the rules for legally visiting Cuba are changing. My parents have gone every year for the last couple of years. Everything by the book. My father would go visit his mother and siblings. They are now changing the visitation rules so that you can only go once every three years. Even though I think it sucks, I don't have a problem with this rule. What I do have a problem with is them making this rule retroactive. My parents can't go to Cuba for another 2 years. How does this make sense?
How can a law be instituted that effects people that did something a year ago?
