However I would say his Padron prices are legit. Not sure if he sold out, but for me cheaper then buying in state with the taxes. So half bad and half good with these folks? Not sure.

Check out ClubStogie.com (retailers section) and you'll see this guy has nothing better to do then chase my posts around... I would comment more, but I don't want to come off as a jerk when I really don't know anyone on this forum.. Well at least not yet..

I'd rather listen to KB, who is looking out for the fellow members, than you, who is here strictly to profit...at some astronomical prices as well.

If those Perdomo prices represent "half off" their original prices, those were some outrageous Perdomo prices too.

Gouging on Opus X...okay, I can see where you could fool some people, due to the hype....but gouging on Perdomo takes some big cajones! :laugh:

There are plenty of other well known retailers that have legit prices on Padrons. I don't know anything about this guy, but I know of other places that have good prices on Padrons, that come with ringing endorsement.

And here's a link to a post on CigarSmokers.com where I warned them showing all the e-mails I got saying I needed mental help. Now I'm a jerk, whose crazy, and ClubStogie thinks I'm wrong. Just trying to watch out for the members with less knowledge.

Also the guys as CigarSmokers seem to get it also. If we let it go on, it'll just keep going on. that's why they aren't real fuente dealers.

Might as well just stick to the facts - point out the MSRP vs. their inflated prices. Plenty of other quality online retailers with competitive prices. If they want to go cry sour grapes, let 'em whine.
 
KB, you've made your point...their prices on Opus X are high...we get it...their prices on some stuff is high, and their prices on some of the stuff is lower...I live in Broward County, and quite frankly their prices on the whole are better than some of the other B&M's near where I live...what I don't understand is why you have made them your personal target, and why you've followed them from board to board and post to post, posting behind them with every post they make...most of us are fairly intelligent and can figure out who has high prices and who doesn't without you labeling them a gouger with every post they make...it seems to me you are just looking for someone to hassle and harass, and you've chosen them as your target, as this has spread across three boards and numerous threads at this point...a lot of B&M's have high prices...they pay higher rent then the guys who operate discount sites out of their garages...they never claimed to be anything but a retailer...and while I might agree that some of their responses to you may have been a little harsh, it came only after you followed them around posting behind them on every board and in every thread they posted in...that would frustrate anyone...really, can't you find anything more constructive to do than harass this one retailer on a continual basis? You're not even a customer of theirs...just don't buy from them...

Actually, no, I haven't followed him around...it's just that I've read his posts on all the boards and repsonded to them because this is a fairly decent retailer with decent prices on most items, but high on others...however, you bring up a good point, since it appears as if that is what is happening and I have said my piece regarding this and for the most part I am done as I have no further need to respond to any of it...I will leave it up to all of you to find out for yourselves as you don't need me, or for that matter, KB, as guardians, as I figure you're all pretty intelligent to start with...

Obviously the guy has outrageous prices. while other Internet vendors may have even higher prices it doesn't make right to be a F*n gouger.

For the record. While Clubstogie probably has some good members it also has a bunch of cigar BB rejects so their opinion doesn't hold water here.

So just trying to be a voice of reason gets personal attacks? I already said some of their prices are high and some are not...it's not necessary to question my intelligence...with the Internet anyone can check prices anywhere and using their own intelligence make up their minds what they want to pay and what they don't without any guardians...I'm not hiding anywhere, and I'm not Lumberg, and I'm not gonna mix it up with you guys over this...been there, done that, got the t-shirt to prove it...those of you who dislike me will continue to do so no matter what I do or say, then, there are the decent ones of you who give someone a chance...I'm not saying I didn't make mistakes when I came on here, I did, I apologized, I did what I could to correct the situation but I guess some of you don't believe in giving someone a second chance...I have tried to avoid frivolous posts, and have only posted when I thought I had some information for someone or something that would be helpful...all my trades and deals here have been honest and reliable and on time...if that doesn't work for you I don't know what will, so if you want to trash me for all of that, then have at it...this thread was simply a pro and con about TW and you're trying to use it as a forum to attack me again...I could care less...you don't scare me....you did, but you don't anymore...

From what I've read, Funte does not want them sold online and does not give OpusX accounts to online retailers so you won't be seeing them online at MSRP.
