Ya know, what would you do if you were Brett? Give up the money, attention, competition and the game you love, plus trying to stay young for another season, for what, sit at home and watch football and let your injuries catch up to you?
I don't blame the guy, but I don't agree with the prima-donna and media BS. If he sits out/retires, he is out of the game forever.
Internalize this a bit and answer the question, what would you do?

There weren't many tickets to sell. 94% retention on season tickets from 2009 season. There were only a few single game seats available for the regular season anyway....now merchandise is a different story.I definately think it wasn't just Favre this time. I was the Vikings trying to sell tickets! I am very happy that he is back again, it was a make or break decision for the Vikings. If he didn't come back, their season would have been done. I can't wait until the season starts
