Oh really? I've never heard that one, interesting. You ever had an old Orval that the Brett takes hold? I think Belgiumi s the Cuba of the beer world, so many of their beers age so amazingly.

Basically let the bottle of Orval sit without any disturbance. Open it and gently pour 2/3 of the beer in one glass and the remaining 1/3 in a different glass. Drink the first glass and then the second glass. They will taste like distinctly different beers.

One of the richest stouts I’ve ever had. @CigarStone and I shared a bottle of 2009 BC Vanilla stout a few years ago that @jayro75 generously gifted me. It was so rich and deep that Jeff and I struggled to finish the bomber after having eaten a few hours before.

Migrating Coconuts - Imperial Porter w/ coconut. A decent beer, just a little thin for me. Had two of them, so they must not have been that bad

Coconuts migrate on the backs of geese. This is why you often see a different number of geese in the two sides of the V.

Thus was exceptional!

Its a tribute to Coca Cola and it had a great cola resemblance, it was amazing how they got the cola flavor into it!

Decided what the hell. Actually pretty good, reminded me of some of the Hardywood beers, that @jfields used to send me. Definitely could taste the spice cake, not so much the carrots
