After a long day hiking through a flea market and then to Dingmans Falls I finally came home had an OpusX with a few Spaten. Always liked this stuff.

Had a few Dos Equis Ambers while putting my son's basketball goal together today. I'll delve into the good stuff tomorrow afternoon.

The night is young! Lindemans Goudenband in honor of my new handle over on BA!

Justin, what is your handle on BA?

Tim

I cracked a bottle of the Great Divide Espresso Aged Yeti last night. I really enjoyed this. IMO one of the best coffee stouts. The coffee in Peche Mortel and Beer Geek Breakfast seems really bitter to me. The Yeti was richer, and the coffee was not so overpowering. The vanilla from the oak really added to the flavor.

I love that beer. I'm having a Butternuts Porkslap Pale Ale at the moment.

Drank a Bear Republic Big Bear Black Stout last night. Not bad and definitely not the worst stout I've ever had.

Followed that up with a Stone American Amber and a New Belgium Abbey.

Dogfish Head Raison D'etre Belgian style dark ale from our local but getting famous brewery.

Had a Guinness 250 Anni Limited Edition Stout

Very different from a regular Guinness...much lighter mouthfeel and smoother than their normal brew. I probably won't buy it again but it's worth a try if you like Guinness or stouts.

Surly Bitter Brewer. A seasonal that just hit the shelves. Interesting beer, a little lighter than the rest of their line, but still full of flavor. Everything balances very well. More malts than hops. Citrus is there, but it's nothing strong. A very long mellow bitter finish, but it's not your typical hoppy finish.

Typical Surly, it would be tough to categorize this beer. Can't wait to have another, tonight.
