Thought it time for some payback. I originally had named it Project "S" but, after much thought I decided to rename it Project "S&A". These babies should land "safely" on Friday.

Here are the rules:

No internet help...........................Gentlemens honor!

You must post pictures showing progress on disarming the bomb.

You have until Sunday "whenever" to post pictures in a thread proving you have disarmed the bomb. Don't wait too long though, I'd hate for the contents to dry out.

Mutilating, cutting, or destroying the bomb device constitutes disqualification / surrender.

No locksmiths are allowed.

The combination can be found in the list provided and, all possibilites end with a # sign. You will know when you punched the right one as the green LED light will illuminate. Yellow means incorrect.

Several wrong attempts will cause the program to "lock-out" for anywhere from thirty seconds to two minutes.

If you say "I surrender" I will provide the correct combination for you. I will do the same after the time expires if you wish.

The bomb package is your to keep if you so desire. Keep it or, PIF it in the same manner that I did (Although shipping cost a fortune  ). The contents inside are yours win or lose.

If you crack the combination in the time frame provided I will send you a nice bonus stick and you do not need to "surrender".

 Good Luck!

This should be interesting. I do the same thing with my bird - the frigging wire cutter with legs, only he is free to mangle the package to get to the goodies.

I'm sorry did you say something about led's and # buttons?

LOL
jfields, I think you have gone off the deep end...

This is gonna be beautiful to watch unwind! Great job John!

I just might have to put some LEDs on "Little Man" before I ship it out :p

RHU-ROH!

I can't wait to see!

As one who is presently dealing with combinations and clues of a similar kind, I am looking forward to this one unfolding.

Nicely done!

Nice to see a little ingenuity going on around this board with the bombs..

Nice play John

Looks like we are on schedule.

Wonder where these are going to land? :whistling:

Looky what the cat dragged in.
As I already told John, I probably will not be able to attempt anything on this for a bit - we have house guests arriving and the Wifely Unit© is in a tizzy about getting crap done. My 'honey-do' list is longer than my arm!! And to make matters worse - we thought they were arriving Saturday Night... Nope! I just looked at their itenerary and it's TONIGHT!!

Think I should tell the Wifely Unit©?

I'll see what I can do, but for the next week we are out fishing each and every day, and I'm already under orders to behave (her friends, not mine)

It seems I am one of the recipients of the S&A project. However, I can't accept the terms since I'm leaving Sunday morning for 2 days.

This is the container and a list of 504 out of the possible 10,000 combinations. I'm thinking the goal here is to see how much time one will waste typing in numbers since it locks you out for over a minute after typing in 3 wrong sets. Worst case is you can spend 6 hours or so if your number is the last one selected. I'll poke at it tonight and tomorrow and we'll see what happens.
