Wow. I *also* need to give some public thanks here to Montagieu. He was really awesome and way too generous and as luck would have it, also saved me from a pretty tough day. Thanks, man!
I know this is kind of random, but are there any other game developers here? We've all got a big conference in San Fransisco next week (GDC) and I'm putting together a gamedev herf and didn't want to leave anyone here out.

Ashton VSG Corona Gorda. (5.75 x 46) Starting off, the construction appears excellent. The wrapper is good looking and has a firm feel overall. There prelight aroma is pleasant and familiar. Right off the bat there's a sharp initial flavor. I wouldn't call it harsh though. While it felt firm...
As an aside (if you don't find anyone to ship it to here) I use FreeCycle for this myself. Lots of people who want my older stuff and are close by and willing to come get it from me. Works pretty well.

Joya de Nicaragua Fuerte Serie B Consul (4.5 x 52) Nicaraguan puro, which probably seems too obvious to mention. The wrapper is the same as the Antano 1970, but the blend is different. I really like these guys. I know that some people say (or at least put in their sig line) that life is too...
Hey Gavin, nice review! Keep them coming!
I have a question about that sampler box. Does the insert come out? I have a couple of boxes where that insert is glued in and it makes it much harder to reuse for other singles later.
Mike.
PS: I linked back to this thread from the Criollo thread...
You play Ratchet and Clank? I hope you've picked up A Crack in Time - our best one yet! (Couldn't convince the team to give Clank a cigar in-game though.)
AVO Piramides (7 x 54). Wanted to try something milder again today. Although, this one was probably a bit milder than I was expecting. It was so light in the first couple of inches that I could barely taste it. It did eventually pick up though in the last third, while still very mild, it had...
CAO Criollo Mancha (5.5 x 46). Didn't have many expectations going in to this one (either good or bad.) Prelight, there was that strong "barnyard" smell and the wrapper itself had was a bit spicy on the tongue. Firmly packed, no soft spots at all. Good start, there. Started with a very nice...
I got mine Friday (Awesome.). Two of them just dropped into a bag. Personally, I thought it was the right way to package them. It's proof of quality: If they can get through the USPS without any padding then they're rugged enough for me. If they really wanted to prove the point, they could've...
Thanks. Yeah, I agree it's fun to check out what other people thought and how they described it. You, for example, seem to have a gift for taking smoking a cigar and turning into a short novel. :)
Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Torpedo (6.25 x 52). I find this one hard to review. I've been sitting on my notes for a couple of days thinking on and off about how to put them together. I often find Rockey Patel hit and miss for my taste, but this one is tricky. It was like two completely different...
