Out of curiosity, what RH do you maintain in your vino? I had a Mi Padre Le Bijou resting at 65% for five months and the wrapper refused to stay lit for the first half.
Just put my order in for a bundle. It sounds like a cigar that probably won't age well, since the spice/pepper notes are part of the appeal. PM me if you'd like a fiver. If you're in California, you can save on shipping.
I've had the same experience. I smoked my first about two weeks after they were released and wasn't very impressed. The second time around was more enjoyable after a few months down, but they still lack the depth and sweetness of the OR. That's usually my experience, though, when I try a larger...
I've got Viper's RH beads in my main humidors, but I use the Boveda's in my Cigar Caddy, which is only for short trips. I just wanted to hear what other user experiences were with re-hydrating these. I figure, if it can be rehydrated, why not? I'll keep testing out my re-hydrated pack and see...
Derek and BBS,
How many times have you been able to successfully re-hydrate a single pack? Do they last as long the second round or do they start dropping in performance? My Boveda pack lasted me a year, the first time. If I can bet on a year each time, then this would be lower maintenance than...

Thanks for the great review. I'll have to let my pair sit for a while, since they don't seem to be smoking that well. If I didn't like the Tatuaje Black so much, I probably wouldn't care for any of these "special" releases, but I keep paying to play.
Confirmed by the LA times, so now it's not just TMZ and its followers. I haven't heard anything about a suicide, but people don't just slip into coma's.
People out to make a quick buck will just find new ways to cheat others out of their money. Whether the embargo is lifted or not, I think fakes will just get harder and harder to spot. I don't know if factories will want to do much in the way of helping distinguish the genuine from the fakes...
I bought the Unicorn Magnum Plus after reading reviews from Cooks Illustrated, etc. It really is as awesome as they say. The Magnum Plus produces a whole lot of pepper for each turn and you can adjust the grind settings to fit your needs perfectly. I used to own some pretty looking Peugeot from...
