I once saw a friend inhale to the nub an entire camacho SLR. He is an avid smoker, and apparently with cigars also. He didn't cough, hack, tear, or complain a bit. The sad part is that I didn't realize how impressive it was at the time.
Me, I can't even inhale limited amounts of second hand...
I definitely agree to try the Padron thousand series. They really are excellent.
Some more choices:
CAO Cx2 - I love em!
CAO L'Anniveraire Cameroon - Don't hear much about them here, but I really enjoy these myself.
Fuente Hemingway Series - I just tried a signature and it was awesome!
AVO...
I wasn't sure if they were getting more common. One of my B&Ms has no 26/64s, and had a box of tres mystique VSGs but sold them fast, the other (better one) has more 26/64 than he knows what to do with and had a few different boxes of VSGs as well, but I figured both of these were givens that...
If you head into a random B&M store and you have to choose 5-10 sticks that most *good* B&Ms would have in stock at any given time, what would they be, in order? I'm curious, because in the grand scheme of things, being new, I haven't tried even a fraction of what is available, and when I go in...
Haha, about a minute too late! That's ok though, the descriptions people posted of what you get are exactly what I was expecting when I ordered. Sounds like I'm just gonna end up with some give-aways for friends that don't smoke often if at all who want to herf it up with me :whistling:
I agree. I signed up for all the open ones a couple weeks ago. Are these common? If so there should be like a sticky or somewhere to find the info (if you don't get the magazines!)!
Did anyone else notice in his email to Moki, that his spelling/grammar/capitalization were REMARKABLY better than EVERY other post he has made publicly? I've seen things like this a few times in these strange cases and it always make me wonder...
Excuse my newbieness, but are the "hemingway" cigars as I've heard a few people refer to here the Arturo Fuente Hemingway series as seen here?
If so, are these usually very rare? Or common but good? Or?
I'm just curious, because I thought I had heard that "hemingways" are rare, but I was at...
I've searched, but I can't find anything conclusive, and all I want to know is if I should switch beads or not...
From what I can tell, most of you keep your humidity below 70%, and lately I've seen a few posts here lately about people who had mold and other issues with higher humidity, even at...
How did you ever make out? After my reseasoning, I have about 20 sticks in with my charged 70% puck and it has been holding between 70% and 72%, averaging at 71%. I'm adding the rest of my collection tonight and I'll be waiting to see how it holds up.
Just a quick update... I've had the humidor closed up with a charged puck (70% beads) for a few days/nights now and the humidity has been sitting between 70% and 72%, averaging at 71%. This is with about 20 cheap sticks in there. I'm confident that it is seasoned and holding RH now and I'll be...
I think that is part of it for me. When I swallow without drink I can "feel" it getting at the back of my throat and I know I'll be tasting the ashtray in my mouth for the next day or two. When I spit instead, I feel that I keep some of that out of the back of my throat and cut back on the...
I don't think it was the seal. When I closed the dollar bill in different areas, I was afraid I would rip it in half trying to get it out. The wood goes up about 1/2" between the cover and the box, so it really crimped the dollar in there. Last night after work it was at 87%, so I left it...
Being relatively new to cigars, I'm curious if the more experienced smokers spit as much as I do when having a cigar. Most times, I find myself spitting lot, and I don't even really realize it until I gather quite the pool by the time I'm done.
So how about everyone else? Any particular...
This is probably a stupid question, but why are cigarettes addictive and cigars aren't. Or are cigars? I know plenty of people smoke alot of cigars (most of you :whistling:  ) but do people really get "addicted" in the same sense that they do with cigarettes. I mean, I don't really...
I can't wait to test the seal. I never knew how before today and "the dollar bill test."
If it is the seal, how can I fix it? Or can you fix it? It closes nice and snug? Is there a known fix for seals?
