Things seem to have calmed down here now...but there's still a lot of mess from mudslides, roads closed due to cleanup, and so on. Just getting around parts of the area can be a nightmare!
I hate to hijack, but I'm sure this has been asked plenty of times so I feel like this question doesn't deserve its own thread. What's a good online source for WOAM's? I don't think I am even close to ready for one (all the reviews I've read seem to mention that this one won't be appreciated...
A couple of friends of mine and I have had discussions similar to this idea in a general sense (is it important for a GF to have similar interests?). I personally think it's a huge plus to date women that have a few hobbies in common, while my friends think it's nothing at all important. I'd...
Wow man, those pictures are mind-blowing, I agree with you that it's nothing short of a miracle your wife's ok. Glad to hear you are very much covered by your insurance company. A friend of mine was smashed into at a stop light by a drunk uninsured driver last year...his Jeep was totaled and...
If the contest was to see who's dog repeats this behavior first, I would have almost won. We've had strange mushrooms growing in our backyard, normally I rip them out before the dog gets to them but not today. Chased him away from some, but he must've gotten a taste because sure...
Was just told by my boss that the college campus I work at is completely closed until Monday. Long, long weekend for me...unfortunately that means I am going to lose out on tons of hours this week. The paycheck after my next one isn't going to look so hot...
Tons of problems. My normal 25-minute commute home turned into a 2 and a half hour nightmare, between awful bumper to bumper traffic from swaths of Route 80 being closed off, and giant pools of water stalling cars out. I can only imagine what things are like today.
On the upside, no work...
I was really enjoying Quake 4's multi...even though it's just a pretty retweaked version of Quake 3, I loved Quake 3 so that's fine by me!
I actually have the Prey demo sitting on my desktop waiting to be tried. Work shifts have been long and tiring though, and I haven't been in a...
No set point, unfortunately. This thing is definitely low-end (and on its last legs...the dial is broken so you have to plug it and unplug it to turn it on/off...). I figure at worst, I'll just find a better place for the humi if need be. Doesn't sound like I will have too much in the...
Thanks for the great reviews guys. The whole idea of the Legends series is interesting, and it's nice to see straightforward opinions on the varieties.
Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll grab a size larger tube of Viper beads, that sounds like a good suggestion...and drop by my RadioShack for a wireless electronic hygrometer, since they seem to be both on sale and highly-reccomended from people here.

The topic just about sums it up. I'm nabbing a 75-100 count humidor soon, as well as some of the much-lauded Viper beads, as they seem to be foolproof. However, we have a dehumidifier that we have to run quite a bit in the summer months to keep the house bearable (4-5 hours a day in the really...
