I have distilled water and sponges. I think I'll go with the conventional seasoning method and use the Heartfelts.

So if i season it with Boveda then use the Heartfelts for daily use, do I still need a Humidifier like the Cigar Oasis? Sorry for the n00bness but I just can't find answers.

I've search till I'm blue in the face on this and about 4 other forums but I am still up on arms about using Boveda or Heartfelt beads for my first Humi. Both seem really easy to maintain which is appealing. The seasoning process when using the beads is where it gets me. The seasoning process...

I'm getting a very nice Humi from my wife's partner full of cigars. He says they are "good" ones, for what thats worth. I'm just wondering if I need to re-season it. I'm assuming I do, so I am going to use the Boveda packets. If I leave the smokes in the Humi for the 10days it takes the Boveda...
