A thinking puzzle

A sheik announced that a race would decide which of his two sons would inherit all his wealth. The sons were to ride their camels to a certain distant city. The son whose camel reached the city last would be given all the sheik's wealth. The two sons set out on the journey. After severals days of aimless wandering, they met and agreed to seek the advice of a wiseman. After listening to the wiseman's advice, the two sons rode the camels as quickly as possible to the designated city.

They did not agree to split the wealth, and their father's decree was to be followed.


What was it that the wiseman told the two sons?
 
A woman gives birth to two boys, on the same day, of the same month, on the same year, within one hour of each other... yet they are not twins. How can this be?

No. The babies were hers and came from her body... method of delivery (c-section etc..) is irrelevant.

Assume natural conception, not that it matters really.

As we've suspected for quite some time, Doc is a woman.
 
A man lived alone in a house for two months. Nobody came to visit him and he never went out. At the end of that time, he became deranged. One night he put out the fire, turned off the lights, and walked out of the house. He was never seen or heard again. His actions in leaving that house resulted in the deaths of 90 people. Why was that?
 
In South America, a woman in being chased by a gang of bandits. She had escaped with two solid gold balls, and the bandits wanted to kill her and take the balls. She came to a wooden bridge over a deep ravine. The bridge was 100 feet long. There was a notice on the bridge that said "Maximum weight on this bridge 112 pounds." Strangely enough, this notice was 100% accurate... the bridge would break if it carried more than 112 pounds. She weighed 100 pounds and each of the two balls weighed 10 pounds. There was no time to leave one ball behind and come back for it later. And yet she managed to escape across the bridge to safety with both the balls. How could this be so?
 
She juggled them as she ran across the bridge.
