Anyone Know a good online merchant?

These guys are local to me, and don't sell mason or ball jars, but they have a heck of a shop

I like the look of the tins they sell, and have pondered a purchase of the clear top ones

Seems like it would be a nice compromise, either round or square tin, with clear top so you can see what the tobacco looks like...

Then again, I'm a total newbie, and maybe a glass jar is better... I was just thinking out loud that if the mfrs use tins, it might make sense to buy tins... and they are pretty cheap and light weight...

They also sell a cello shrink seal type deal that can be used so the tins won't pop open... I could also see instead using some kind of tape around the rim to get an absolute seal.
 
Any particular reason you're looking for online vendors?

Our local grocery stores have them year round by the sandwich bags and stuff like that. I would think the shipping would be almsot as much as the jars themselves. I think I paid $9 for the last dozen I bought.

Im pretty sure I saw some at both target and walmart off of Texas.

Edit: If not, I know they have them at Home Depot as well in the storage area.

At least they did last time.
 
ya im not sure why I didn't think to buy them from the store, as ive bought them there before. Non the less there are some other good alternatives for bottling above.
