bnbtobacco - Come on Down!

Yes. Very interesting indeed. Will resolve tomorrow.

My apologies! In an attempt to try and smooth this issue out with the retailer, it failed. The owner became defensive. With that said, BnB Tobacco shall remain on the shit list. ;)

Email string for the record. Perhaps Bryan would like to explain the past situation with Maria.

Rod,
For the most part we have very loyal fans and customers. I’d encourage you to look at our reviews from resellerrating, bizrate and a whole slew of other rating sites that we subscribe to. I am not sure where you are getting your information on Maria, the entire cigar community is in uproar over BnB from some posts? This is the first time I’ve heard of it. In fact I’ve heard from a lot of customers from forums that have praised our lightning fast delivery and unbeatable prices, and our growth rate over the past year speaks volumes to this.

Regardless, no need to bend over backwards to accommodate us, we have plenty of other partners that we are working with and continue to grow those relationships within the relevant online marketplace.

Good luck in your future endeavors and all the success to your website.

Good example of why hiring the right person to market your company online is so important; she caused some real damage on several forums apparently, which puts BnB in a poor light with the online cigar community as a whole.

Let me think about this and see what possibilities are available in order to actually make this an effective campaign.

Thanks,

Rod

Rod-

Unfortunately, she was contracted through BnB and not an official employee. Since I started working I have taken over her job and am in charge of our social media and forum marketing strategies.

I am sorry about what happened in the past, but is there any way we can continue on with the relationship as I am a different person and we had no prior knowledge that she was doing this?

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

It was just brought to my attention that there is some history between the CP community and BnB. Probably before you started working there. Apparently someone by the name of Maria spammed our forum, topped many of the old threads for no reason, and when questioned ignored the concern. We ended up banning BnB tobacco over this stint.

It's best we don't continue with the sponsorship, as the membership of CP won't receive it well, and I don't want to waste either of our time.

Hope you understand...

Best,

Rod

I like this part:
"Regardless, no need to bend over backwards to accommodate us, we have plenty of other partners that we are working with and continue to grow those relationships within the relevant online marketplace."

Who says stuff like that?

An on-line marketer who really doesn't understand a loyal customer base. He's saying there are more of us out there to meet his needs!

BnB does. :)

I just sent Bryan an email inviting him to post a response. We shall see...

Twenty bucks on a Bronx street corner would take care of your needs.

Doc

It is too bad that they continue to operate this way...

They were banned from the forum I moderate due to their refusal to follow the rules about retailers posting deals only in the retailer section.

Good riddance.
