Just wondering if anyone here has tried these.

Americas most sought after cigar, Padron Annavasario, is now Americas most sought after alternative, the equally famous and enjoyable Carbon Copy “P”.
The amazing flavor, aroma and delicious taste of this highly prized alternative is now available in the Carbon Copy “P”. Compare the flavor, aroma and rich delicious satisfying smoke that the Carbon Copy “P” consistently delivers. If you enjoy medium to full bodied cigars this specially blended “P” will definitely become one of your most treasured cigars, at an affordable price. Due to the seasonal harvesting of the rare Brazilian Madruo wrappers, quantities are always extremely limited. Only several times a year are these wonderful wrappers available. These are cigars you may want to horde for those special occasions when only the finest cigar will do.
Made from renowned Ligero thick oily tobacco leaves fully aged for 5 Years

Wrapper: Brazilian Maduro
Binder: Nicaraguan/Honduran
Filler: Ligero Thick Oily Leaves Aged 5 Years

Medium-Full Bodied smoke, Smooth and Earthy flavors. The Padron Annavasario cigar retails for over $390.00 (if you can even find them) but the Carbon Copy “P” won't break the bank.

I tried the Carbon Copy X (before they became Carbon Copy F and then had to "Cease and Desist").

Very disappointing. Don't know about these, the description 'sounds' good (but doesn't it always?).

They do sound good, 5 year old filler etc..., but I wonder if some of these catalogs and web sites have more creative writers on staff then they have cigar smokers?

Ummmm....as a Padron lover, I protest the very thought of this. :angry2:

I would be interested in trying a few, but brudda rob, I agree. Can't rip off that great padron taste!

eh.
life's not long enough to waste time on pseudo-gars. if it's cost and elusiveness that's keeping 1964's or 1926's out of my hands, then I'll settle for their less-expensive, real Padron cousins, such as 3000's…or go with something different altogether.

AMEN, BRUTHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahem,

So I guess you guys don't approve of my fake Louis Vuitton jock strap?

Seriously though, while I don't have a problem of someone trying to approximate the taste of a good cigar, trying to sell it by claiming it's the same thing at a lesser cost is in bad taste. Something that good should sell itself.

Kento, is that spider man doing the napolian dynamite dance as your avatar?

That's actually from a "Gay Spiderman" website. As I recall, it played some funky music to go with the dancing.

Explanation: I used to work for an intellectual property (IP) protection company. I was doing a demo for Marvel Comics to show how their brands and characters were being abused online and ran across a lot of weird stuff, including the dancing Spidey. It's the one job where I was actually encouraged to look for porn on the web. :p

That's really interesting Stevehawk, I always wondered about the origin of the Spidey Dance. I found it on Matrixm.com, a site where you can download ringtones, screensavers, etc for your phone. Spiderman was a boyhood hero of mine, and seeing that 'gay' dance just whacked my funny bone.
