There is no longer any smoking on the patio thanks to non cigar loving tenants of the
Forum Shops. This removes almost any reason I have of visiting the very high priced establishment.

Sad day!

I've spent a lot of time in Vegas, probably more than anywhere else in the US, and I'd avoid the Forum Shops like the plague anyway. Dreadful, overpriced place. The drinks (and cigars) at Casa Fuente were horribly expensive.

If you're in Caesars anyway, you could always perch yourself inside the casino with a cigar (not that the ambiance is the same, obviously!)

Have you tried Man Cave in Henderson? Thats a pretty nice place if you dont mind a modern set-up, or Andre's (inside Monte Carlo), although its been a year since I was last in the valley so I'm not sure if Andre's is still open. There was some talk of it being converted into a nightclub.

Wow, bittersweet. Now I don't have to go buy over priced cigars to have a smoke with BoTLs, but I'm sure I'll miss being ditched on my birthdays!

I thought people went there for the mojitos and the girls serving them? Or was there somewhere else...

What a shame, yes the mojitos and the ladies were a plus. I guess we will find other places to hang out and smoke while in Vegas!

Too frigg'n bad.  The anti smoking groups win again.

Damn I wonder if its going to get like that in the casinos. Well maybe they will open a shop somewhere else on the strip.

I'm not really all that shocked, it has been mentioned and joked about several times that we are sitting in the middle of a non smoking mall, directly below the escalator, blowing smoke into innocent peoples faces. I've always been on the mindset that my freedoms end when I encroach upon yours. That was sort of the case, in this scenario. I sounds like we can still smoke inside the bar area, unfortunately it's quite small. I'm searching for some additional information on this.

My favorite part of Vegas was sitting right by the escalator blowing smoke into people's faces.  That was the only reason I even visited that Forum Shop.  I didn't mind paying that high price for a Casa Fuente, you're in Vegas damn it.  Smoking there is like a ritual for me each time I go.

Dang!  PJ, I am coming to Vegas on a conference next weekend...I was hoping to visit Casa Fuente just to say I did; knowing that it is over priced.  Is there any where else now that I should check out??  Damn!!

1 less reason to visit Vegas.

Every time I went to Casa Fuente, you could hardly smell the cigars.  It's tucked away in the corner and the ventilation was always excellent.  Believe it or not, they're trying to ban fireplaces out this way too.

So sad....that place was a nice destination for cigar lovers.  I hope the smoking inside can continue...but the smoke Nazi's are strong these days.  When it gets to the point where I can't smoke in the casino's....I'll start re-thinking Vegas in general.

Pheasant Cigars is the place to go in Vegas anyways. He has all the boutique brands we all love and he isn't too far off the strip. He is working on serving cocktails at that location.

The only problem is there isn't a steady parade of hot young shoppers to watch whilst enjoying the overpriced mojito.

There are entire casinos here that don't allow cigar smoking. Expect that to continue and increase.

I never got to go. I feel deprived of a life event. Do they sell the Casa Fuente blend elsewhere? I had one once and it was really good.

That sucks! I made it a point to go multiple times each visit for the mojitos/girls. Hoping inside is still OK?

^This is the reason I'll still go James, because I can't get the CF blend anywhere else and I happen to really like it. My heart does go out to the local guys who can't enjoy the view anymore while smoking...

Damn shame.

I'm glad I had a chance to make it by last year.
