Cohiba
Siglo IV Abr 07
Origin: Cuba
Wrapper: Cuba
Binder: Cuba
Filler: Cuba
Place of purchase: 3 Donkeys and a ass Split
Smoking Results
SIZE: Length: 5.6" Ring: 46 Corona Gorda
APPEARANCE: The appearance was a nice, light chocolate color
CONSTRUCTION: Was very good, firm to the touch, no soft spots
Cut: Cut with my Xicar x3
DRAW: Perfect, sweet taste of cedar tones
BURN: To windy out to be fair
FLAVOR: cedar, almost like when you open a humidor
STRENGHT: Was a medium to full
SMOKING TIME: roughly 1 hr
GENERAL IMPRESSION: A very solid cigar from start to finish.. The cigar had a good burn for the first 2/3 until the wind picked up.
Lay out: Outside on my patio, first 70 degree day out in NJ.. A little to windy though towards the end. My wife and daughter were out with me, at a comfortable distance.
1/3 Predraw gave a cedar tone, the draw was perfect for me. I torched the foot and had a nice even burn.. Initial flavor was a mildly sweet, with a cedar tone.. The smoke was very creamy.. First couple puffs and this is a fairly smooth, consistent smoke. The ash held nicely and was a light grey color with white specks.
2/3 The only real change is the flavor lost its sweetness and i'm left with a light cedar taste. Very good smoke..
3/3 So far there has been no change in flavor.. Definitely not a bad thing, just very consistent
