Deal I saw so passing it on- Round 2

Got this from CF:

"After reading at another forum about the ronson lighter deal 12 for 16.99.... Turns out that company shnoop.com and pennywise.com is fraudenlently charging your credit cards, so check'em boys"
 
Mine arrived Thursday or Friday while I was out of town. All the vendor did was set the plastic display stand down in a box and seal it up. The lighters were rattleing around in the box and the lids of several had been knocked open. It would have been very difficult to cause an impact strong enough to light one but it would have been very bad if it was one that doesn't go out. :0
 
Just got my 12. The display case was put in a Tyvek envelope with no padding and put in to a box. It was pretty rattle-y but they made it through and they all work.

No extra charges on my peypel either. Yay.
 
Using PPal is the way to go, since it is an escrow service.
The vendor, in my case shnoop, doesn't get access to your CC#.

Deals like this, that sound too good to be true, scream PPal to me.

I received mine promptly, wrapped in bubble wrap. No loose
lighters inside the box, and the ones I checked work fine. They
are for personal use and gifting to my regular herf BOTLs.

My only regret is that I didn't double down on the deal!
