Digital Smoking

At CES 2009, multiple "digital cigarettes" were announced; these devices look like cigarettes, and use cartridges to provide taste and nicotine without the smoke -- call it a "healthy smoke" (used loosely as no health tests have been done yet).

Apparently, these cartridges provide the flavor and buzz of tobacco without the negative side effects, and is supposed to be much more cost-efficient.

I seen some cigar ones on ebay I believe. I don't think you will get the flavors tho. it's spos to be for when you can't smoke in certain spots you can use these to kinda curb your urge till you are able to smoke again.

They're nothing more than nicotine inhalers. The ones that look like cigars are just that, larger nicotine inhalers. They taste awful, and give you a rather nasty buzz. Don't waste your money, they're only geared for a safer way of getting nicotine w/o inhaling.

I saw someone using one at a B&M around here, trying to sell one. For cig smokers, I could understand it, but for cigars...

I wasn't meaning to sound like a noob here -- I simply found the diffusion technology-in-a-small-package to be somewhat interesting.
