Garage Heater

Even though you guys are all somewhat warm in your garages from the heaters, do you find that the cigars still split from the low humidity and have to choose smaller, shorter smokes? Just wondering if the heat helps any.

Low humidity? You must mean the several day out of the year it doesn't rain...

Go along the lines of what Gary (Grateful1) said. Radiant heaters heat the obejcts around/below. I used to use a patio heater before I moved indoors with my smoking. You will also then have the option to use it outside on a chilly day as well as long as the wind is not too strong.

Definitely don't go electric space heater. too inefficient

That's a great price! I just might buy this. Thanks John.

For electric the quartz bulb infrared heaters are pretty slick.

If you have natural gas; a low intensity infrared tube heater is good, or a high intensity infrared where the ceramic material glows bright red.

Take a peak at some of your local eateries, pubs, or patios for things that work pretty well in an enclosed space.
