Because of the limited nature (3500 US bottles) and all the hype that surrounded it one would think that it should have been priced higher than the $100 list. In this case you get a pretty good deal for your $100. If you decide to open it you'll get a fairly smooth dram with a large but not overpowering amount of vanilla, some nice spice riding in the background and a pretty good kick from the 97.6 proof. It went well with the medium body Cameroon and I think a really strong cigar would overpower it. If you decide to keep it for 20+ years it should plateau at about $500 because there are lots of people who are doing the same thing although in this case I am not one. Crack it open and write it up is my vote.
