Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Had a great day yesterday and Beth and I finished off the evening with an incredible dinner at the Black Forest Mill. We're not planning anything big for breakfast this morning, maybe a bagel or a muffin as we are both pretty much still stuffed from last night. Today, I plannin' on watchin' some NASCAR from Martinsville, VA and catch some more college basketball as well. I hope everyone has a relaxing day and get to enjoy a few of your favorites on this beautiful Sunday....... :)

New York Sunday: Sunny to partly cloudy. High 48F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday night: Mainly clear skies. Low around 30F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.

8:30! Man that's late for you! Have a great day.

Bottom of the morning all. A little late in the day but still in the AM. That is what is good about Sundays. Will be a little busy today with memorial services and visiting dignitaries but hope to cut out a little time for a good cigar. Hope that everyone's day is a good one. Enjoy!!

A bit early in the AM for most, but wishing all a great week ahead with some good smokes. Will be escorting some foreign officers around which should prove interesting. Have a great one and be safe out there.

Good morning all and as Sax stated, here's to a new week. The coffee is on and I took an Irish soda bread out of the freezer for breakfast today. Well, yesterday's NASCAR race was excellent and the final four is set. Here you go:

It should be a another good one this year and all bets are off to who will take the 1st place trophy. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and you get to smoke a few of your favorites....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Seeing that yesterday's opening game for the Yankees was poseponed due to rain, I have my fingers crossed that it will be played this evening at 1900 (7pm). They are calling for rain again all day and here is next three days weather prediction from NOAA:

Today: Periods of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. High near 67. Breezy, with a southwest wind between 14 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10pm, then a chance of showers, mainly between 10pm and midnight. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 42. Breezy, with a west wind between 18 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 54. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 21 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 34. Northwest wind between 8 and 17 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south.

Thursday Night: Rain likely, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Being that it's the 1st day of April, the ole' phrase "April showers brings May flowers", couldn't be any more spot on. Anyway, I hope everyone has a good day and enjoys a favorite or two....... :)

GO YANKEES!!!!!

Good morning! Well, we're starting out at 53º and we'll be at 20º tonight. Go Michigan!!

Got up early to make my wife some breakfast in bed, had a Woam sitting on the porch which is something I almost never get to do.

Good morning all, the joe is almost ready and you have a great Hump Day. Well it was good to see the Yankees win the season opener last night 3 - 2 over the Blue Jays and tonight we'll see if the "Moose" Mike Mussina can do the same. It will be another 7:05 game and the weather for today is as follows:

Daytime: Sunny skies. High 53F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.
Tonight: Some clouds early will give way to generally clear conditions overnight. Low around 30F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph

I hope everyone has a great day and gets to enjoy a favorite cigar if the time prevails...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. It looks to be another nice day today and the next thing we know, it will be the evening and we'll be heading over to Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars. Also, in two (2) days is the 3rd Annual Long Island, NY Herf @ Maxi's Cigar Lounge. Here is the link to that thread just in case you haven't heard about it:

I hope you all have a great day and if you get the chance, smoke a favorite cigar or two or....... :)

Good morning Charlie, and everyone else! Warm weather on the horizon! 'Bout time IMHO! Y'all have a smokin' great day!!!

Good morning all and TGIF!!! The coffee is on and I'll headin' over to the West Point Dining Facilty (mess hall) in a little bit for one of their tastey SOS - cream beef and biscuts, hopefully it's not lumpy. Well, we all had a great time last night at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars watching Yankees baseball while enjoying some fine cigars. It was good to see the Yankees come back and win it, Phil Hughes had a good six innings of pitching as well. Tomorrow is the 3rd annual Long Island Herf and I give Scott1966 a big thumbs up for putting this all together. I hope everyone has a great day today and enjoys a couple of their favorites...... :)

I'm convinced spring is never comming to N. New England. It's snowing again. It's good for sugaring, but not my mental health. I have piles of snow, that at this rate, won't be gone till Memorial Day.

Doc.

Good morning all and yes, this is Herf day. The coffee is on and I'm about to make a batch of belgium waffles in our new iron that we picked up last week. It should be a great day starting off with brunch and then the road trip down to Franklin Square (Queens) NY. I have to pack my travel humidor with some primo sticks to gift some great BOTL and to smoke all day. It's an hour and half ride, roughly 70 miles which is just enough time to enjoy a double corona / churchill. I hope everyone has a great day and for the ones attending the Herf, safe travels and I'll see you in roughly 6 hours...... :)

The Wife is going out with the girls and I'll have the day to myself. I see a stick or two in my future :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Well, we had a great time at the Herf yesterday, Scott put together a great event. It was good to see all the the S / BOTL, John Conroy from Altadis USA and also meet Gene Arganese (owner of Arganese Cigars). Thanks to everyone for making this a great event and a big thank you to all the sponsors that helped out. For today, I have a little running around to do and then I'm gonna kick back and watch some baseball and the NASCAR race from Texas as well. I hope all of you have a great day as well and enjoy a favorite cigar if the time allows it...... :)

Good morning all and Happy Monday. The coffee is on and it looks like a nice slice of Irish soda bread with jam is for breakfast this morning. Today at West Point, we have a big ceremony with the USMA Command Sergeant Major passing of the sword to the new incoming CSM. I hope you have a great week and get to enjoy a few of your favorites if possible...... :)
