A very close friend of mine just got back from a cruise through DR and Virgin Islands and she broght me back 2 cigars. One I actually liked, a rum flavored stick with a Vigin Island band.
The second was a different story (and it was the one she was the most "proud" of. It was one from the DR and it was rolled right in front of her and she had a picture of the man rolling my cigar. Beside the damage that happened in her purse (it was bent, but not broken and very loose), it was really something I didnt want sitting in my humi, so I lit it up. I've had better smokes from Walgreens.
I just didnt have the heart to tell her. I told her I loved the rum one alot and the other was just so so. I made an excuse that maybe I should have aged it first. She was suprised, thinking a freshly made one would be better.
But like others said, its the thought that counts.
