Lake Erie Fishing Trip

Was a loooooong drive pulling our boat out there and the weather didn't hold for us but it was fun and we caught some nice walleye.

The FIL. Weighed in at just under 11.5 lbs.

My brother. This one was just over 12 lbs.

Damn...that is a drive! I've not been to put-in-bay myself, but besides the fishing I heard its a nice area..

Nice catch! Being laid of these days I have probably fished more than I ever have in my life. Never went fishing for Walleye though. Congrats on the day!

I haven't been walleye fishing at the Islands in years (20+). When they are hitting, it is a real blast.

I don't think there is a better eating freshwater fish.

Hope you had a chance to spend some time in Put in Bay afterwards. What a non-stop party that place is.....

Man i love Lake Erie, that's the best fishing i have ever experienced after the Gulf of Mexico.

Put in Bay - great place to catch some fish and catch a wicked buzz at the same time. No place like it in the summer.
