My One Man Smoking Room

This is my first try at digital pictures and posting them so bear with me.

Here is an outside shot. This is one of four porches I have, and living alone I hardly used it. It was already covered, but all open.

Here is a view from the sofa. I have the new door to the kitchen all weatherstripped so it is airtight.

Sweet....but unless you are really big that looks like a 2 person sofa ??? Beats the hell out of smoking in the garage!

Seeing this and atuck's room - I can't wait til I move into my apt! It's a 2 bedroom and I'm living alone. So I'm converting the other bedroom into an "office". You know: framed Arnold posters, laptop, leather recliner, humidor. I won't allow smoking in the living room though.

Unfortunately the apt is 6 months - 1 year away...
 
impressive looking digs, beats the hell out of smoking in the backyard sitting on a cinder block.

edit - don't know how much space is really available in there, but add a few folding chairs and it can be a herf hideout.
 
Looks great, very well done.

I have an unfinished John Deere room that I will be converting partly into an office/cigar lounge. The project is several years away but seeing pics like these and of atuck's make me want to accelerate the timeline. Unfortunately the wife doesn't agree - she wants her new kitchen first.

Nothing like having a few moments during the day by yourself with a smoke... Nice set up there... I have always had trouble playing games and smokng cigars at the same time though....
 
Very nice!! :thumbs: Everybody should make a smoking area in thier house or garage or enclosed patio.

I love my cigar room!! I find myself thinking about it when I am not home. I have never lived near a decent B&M so it is real nice to have one at home. It helps me enjoy my cigars so much more.

I wish I had a place like that. I'll have a room for myself one of these days...one of these days...
 
VERY cool; tastefully done. How many people can fit comfortably in that room?

One day, in my next house or life, whichever comes first, I will have something akin to that kinda room

Enjoy it, especially during the winter months.
