Let me think on it, but the no smoking nazi's have this town pretty dead. The power and light district downtown would be fun, maybe Makers Mark Lounge or Angels Rock Bar.

Since I don't get off work till well after 7 on Fridays, Jack Stack is out for me. But I could possibly walk the few block from the office to the P&L District for a quick smoke!

Sounds like I'm following Bruce's shadow... If he doesn't kick my ass... :0 I have NO INTENTION of getting into an incident out-of-state and off-duty, while drunk. I'll only get pissed at Bren't place!

If you're hanging with us I don't see much potential for any "incidents" unless you're completely irresponsible or an a-hole. :sign: ;)

I can't speak for everyone, but I would be down with just a few beers, some smokes, and some bullshitting while watching the hot, young, nubile, fresh faced 21 year old females go by or dance with one another.

That's what we did last year, anyway.

What about the 'burbs, Brent? Anywhere out there?
 
If I'm correct, Grandview is one of the few, if not only places that you can still smoke pretty much anywhere. However, it's mostly biker bars and some tough neighborhoods there.

I'll be at the event. I also might have the basement done by then, so it might be herf ready for the Friday night before, or the after party. I'm just north of the Outlaw, right off 29 and 152 now.
 
Herf newb here. Do you guys bring your own sticks to an event like this or smoke what you buy?

It sounds like a good time but I'm not sure if I can swing it.

Combination of the 2.Bring some,buy some.It is really up to you. I personnaly think that if the Outlaw is providing the venue,arranging for the food & drink,etc. then I should buy something to show my support while I am there. Even if it's just a couple of cigars.

With a 2009 CP HERF in Vegas being unlikely, might be that Outlaw is going to be one of the surrogates! I think I'll review the thread and edit my original post with the list.

Sure, I understand that. I just wanted to know if it was ok to bring a few of your own. Thanks for clearing that up.

This is a really tempting opportunity to meet some people in this new hobby of mine. I just wish it was a month earlier or a month later.

It doesn't mention it on their website though I assume there is a cover charge for such an event?
