Hey guys!

I'm going to Varadero, Cuba next month, and will be visiting Havana. I will obviously bring back cigars, bought from reputable sources. I have a budget of about 400cuc to bring back sticks and would like to know what would be your picks... I usually smoke cigars around the robusto sizes, sometimes panatela, medium to full body.

Refer to http://www.marty.514crew.com/cigarprices.html for prices...

thanks

It's all about personal preference. Check out posts by Zebra and Newfie as they have been in the last year or two and have made purchases in Cuba.

Agree with Anthony...you don't want someone else making your choices for you.

You say that like it's a bad thing :whistling:

you guys are right....but then maybe let me ask a different way....what cubans have you smoked lately that were worth it? Last time i went, I was advised to bring bask RASS, Cohiba siglo 4, cuaba salomones.... And when I got there, I bought singles, and I was pleased with them so I brought back boxes....just trying to get an idea.....because when you get there....there is too much choice

Then let price be your deciding factor based on what you smoke when you are there.

You already mentioned 3 very good choices, so if you try six to ten different cigars while there you should cover your budget well.

That's an awesome price for a box of Romeo Y Julieta Churchill Tubos!!!

I think that tone-ny hit the nail on the head. You are working with a limited budget. Best to get there and sample a few cigars that appeal to you and buy what you enjoyed the most.
