It's been a while since I've seen anyone from CP. I'm heading to Seattle area from the 9th-23rd of July. We'll be staying at Whidbey Island. This is the first time I've been to Washington outside of Seattle in a long time so I'm not sure how far Whidbey is from everything else. Anyone want to get together while I'm in that part of the neighborhood for a few smokes?

Unfortunately Whidbey is basically hell and gone from Seattle, and also of course there is no smoking anywhere in Washington state, at least not in any facility open to the public or any commercial business, which makes it really hard to organize a herf.

Your best bet is finding someone who lives near Whidbey who might want to host a get together at their home.
 
I think Davidr2340 lives on the mainland reasonably close by, and you can smoke on native american property. I believe the Tulalip casino has a smoking room and is on like mile 195 or so of I5. So you have at least a little bit of an option. I don't know the local area up there very well for other smoking rooms, so that's the best I can come up with.
 
Good point, there are some options up there for Indian land.

My understanding is Tulalip allows cigars and pipes anywhere they allow cigarettes, except for the poker room.

I don't know about a "smoking room" though I have heard that they plan to have a cigar bar of some kind soon.
 
I live here on the island stationed at the NAS unfortuntely I don't know of any place on the island were you could smoke. Flyers restaraunt has an outdoor seating area where I'm sure you could smoke. The Northern Lights Casino doesn't allow cigar smoking. If you need a place to buy smokes, Whidbey Island Beer Works has a limited selection, however he had 1964 AVM and some Ashtons. Hope this helps.
 
Lopaka, I'm tentatively changing the date for the herf I'm putting together to July 19th. We will be in the Tacoma/Fife area if you feel like traveling that far. I modified my thread so you can post on there if you would like. Mapquest it and see if you can make it.
