Anyone else insane like me and gonna go to the midnight showing?? All 3 screens are sold out in my town.

No but I sure would like to know if it is any good?? :D

honestly, I thought that the movie was enjoyable. I didn't go in with all of the superhype that everyone has. Its kind of like how Casino Royale is a different kind of bond movie. This one had funny parts and was just qwerky.

I wish I could wait to see the rental but my kids would kill me if I made them wait so long. As long as you don't expect too much, I am sure it will be a fun movie. Thanks Wanlail for the quick review.

I was there. It wasn't the best (I don't think 2 or 3 is better than 1) but it was worth seeing. Needed more action less soap opera.

I've not seen any of them. I'm not quite sure why I felt the need to post that...

I've been told Bruce Campbell's part is awesome. Which is a large part of the reason I go to see any Spiderman movies.

I'll be seeing the movie this coming Wednesday. Personally, the worst thing they (Sam Raimi) could have done when he casted characters was to pick the epitome of fugly, Kirsten Dunst! Good cripes almight, you could find roadkill much better looking than that beast to play the sexy vixen Mary Jane Watson. Bad move for sure!

Having Bruce Campbell getting cameos is a definite highlight for me too! I've met the guy, seen most of his movies, and think he is the cheesiest best! Bubba Hotep, you rock!

Personally, I've collected Spiderman comics since I was a kid. The character is pretty near and dear to my heart, but truthfully the task that Raimi had in fitting history and characterization into the first and second movie was daunting at best. I think the love affair crap should have stayed on the backburner with more action, but hey you gotta please the non-comic book reading crowd who will be shelling out the noodles to see this movie. Remember, mom's who bring their kids gotta have SOMETHING to entice them to sit though 2 and 1/2 hours of Spider-mania!

Nuff said,
Darren

Saw Spidy 3 yesterday....I highly enjoyed it. Sandman was outstanding...Thomas Haden Church did a great job. And the little montage where Peter Parker starts to get a little confidence wearing the black suit was hilarious. Special effects as usual were really good too.

I agree with melissa, I just thought it was drug out way to much and there was not enough depth into venom's charactor

Are you serious? ???

That was the worst part of Spiderman 3, IMHO. Emo Parker sucks. And they also just wasted Venom. The rest was alright, but those two things really just ruined it for me. (I saw the movie a second time and my thoughts have changed a little bit from my first post).

Took the kids, really enjoyed th movie. I think they tried to hit all parts of the movie going public, part chick flick, part action movie. Two thumbs up!
